Overview

Two TikTok channels, both from zero. One about physics and space, one about stoicism and history.

Different skill from building, and the feedback shows up in hours instead of months. Something lands or it doesn't, and you find out immediately.

Followers, likes and view counts read off both public profiles on 21 September 2026. Post dates come from the video IDs. Per channel, not combined.

A month, and then it was done

Every post either channel has in public, stacked up in the order they went out. Feynman opened with three videos on one day that between them did 7.4M. The Stoic Scroll spent two weeks under 50K a post, then put up a 5.5M on 17 March. Post dates are exact. The view counts are what each post shows today, so the line is really “which posts built this” rather than what the counter read that week, and TikTok rounds anything over a thousand.

Read this one loosely. The ringed figures are real: zero on the day each channel started, the counts off the screenshots on 14 April 2025, and the counts off the profiles on 21 September 2026. The dashed line between them is drawn, not measured. I shaped it to follow the view timeline above, because that is when the posts actually landed, but nobody logged the follower count day by day and I am not going to pretend otherwise.

What I took from it

Same idea, different opening, completely different result. Obvious written down. Very easy to ignore when you like what you made.

It also taught me to read the response as data instead of a verdict on me. That one took longer.

Who did what

I made and posted all of it.

If you do distribution seriously, I want to know how you pick what to test next. That's the part I did on instinct.

Think you could pull this apart? I want to hear it.
